FachPack 2024, the leading European fair dedicated to the label and packaging industry, has just closed its doors in Nuremberg, Germany, after three intense days of innovation and networking. For Rottaprint, this was a very special edition, marking our first participation as an exhibitor.

During the three-day event, we had the opportunity to engage in interesting discussions with professionals from various industries, exploring together label and packaging solutions tailored to their specific needs. We were pleased to see such a high level of interest in our solutions, which respond to the particular demands of different industries. 

Visitors were particularly interested in the following solutions from our portfolio:

• Printed self-adhesive labels: customizable and suitable for a wide range of applications;

• Shrink-sleeve labels: which mold perfectly to the shape of the container, giving a great visual impact;

• Printed foils: which ensure the freshness and quality of your products for a long time and have countless printing possibilities;

• Unprinted labels: for you to print information when you need it;

• Aluminum foil lids: airtight closure and attractive design, ideal for a wide range of containers, available in 4 different embossings. 

We have also received many requests for labels for containers with atypical, irregular shapes, a challenge we are happy to accept and for which we are able to offer quick and efficient solutions.

Unique shrink-sleeve labels

The stars of the exhibited products were customized shrink-sleeve labels with variable text and images, and unique codes for promotional campaigns.  These caught the attention of the visitors with their versatility and great visual impact.

The mosaic technique, used in the design of these labels, gives each bottle a distinct look, even though they are all part of the same concept. This creative approach allows consumers to choose the product on the shelf according to their personal preferences, turning the act of buying into a personalized experience.

Sustainability, a top priority for the labels and packaging industry

Sustainability was also an important theme at FachPack 2024. We saw increased interest in environmentally friendly label solutions, confirming that the industry is increasingly concerned about the impact on nature.

We had numerous conversations about our eco-friendly products, including:

• Wine labels made of 100% cotton paper with TUV Austria certified adhesive: elegant labels that offer a natural and biodegradable alternative to traditional materials.

• Washable labels: which peel off easily during the washing process, making it easy to recycle containers.

• Perforated shrink sleeve labels: which, thanks to the perforations, help to easily separate the label from the container, and allow an efficient recycling process.

Augmented Reality brings products to life

At the Rottaprint stand, visitors had the opportunity to experience a digital version of our products through augmented reality (AR). With the help of a specially developed app, they could interact with the labels and packaging on display. By simply placing the tablet close to a product, 3D animated content was displayed, allowing visitors to see beyond the physical appearance of the products. 

Augmented reality proved to be an effective tool in illustrating the versatility and visual impact of our labels and packaging, raising the interest and curiosity of our visitors.

FachPack 2024 was a high-value experience for Rottaprint, intense, full of energy and learning opportunities. We enjoyed sharing our passion for labels and packaging with so many industry professionals and are grateful for all the connections and insightful discussions we had.
